An early-1900s brick home where the original slate had reached the end of its service life. The framing was assessed and found sound for the slate weight. We did a full tear-off, replaced 12 sheets of compromised deck plywood, installed ice-and-water shield at all eaves and valleys, and laid new natural Vermont slate in the original three-course graduated pattern.
