How we use cookies on benefitra.com, and how you stay in control.

Last reviewed: July 17, 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on benefitra.com, why we use them, and how you control them. For how we handle personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

Your choice comes first

When you first visit, we ask what you want to allow before any non-essential cookie or tracking script runs. Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories loads until you opt in. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom left of any page.

We group cookies into three categories.

1. Necessary (always on)

These make the site work and remember your privacy choice. They cannot be switched off.

CookiePurposeLasts
bf_consent Stores the choices you made in the cookie banner so we do not ask again and so we honor your preferences on every page. 12 months
Session cookies Keep the site working while you browse (for example, security and load balancing). Session

2. Analytics (off until you allow it)

These help us count visits and understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. They run only if you turn on Analytics.

ToolWhat it doesNotes
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HM61MD7D6B, loaded through Google Tag Manager container GTM-WKSZJ4T6) Aggregated, non-identifying reporting on page views and site usage. Runs in Google Consent Mode. Before you opt in, it is set to "denied" and stores nothing.
Matomo (matomo.benefitra.com) Privacy-focused visit analytics that we host ourselves. Configured to require consent, so it tracks nothing until you allow Analytics.

3. Marketing (off until you allow it)

These let us measure our advertising and remember which ad you clicked, so we do not waste budget on ads that do not work. They run only if you turn on Marketing.

Cookie / toolWhat it doesLasts
bf_attr A first-party cookie that stores the Google click identifier (gclid) and campaign tags from the link you arrived on, so a later enquiry can be tied back to the ad that brought you here. Contains no name or email. 90 days
Google Ads signals (through GTM / Consent Mode: ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) Let Google measure ad conversions. Set to "denied" until you opt in. Managed by Google

How to change or withdraw consent

Do Not Track and global signals

Because our default is to run nothing non-essential until you opt in, your privacy is protected whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or similar signal.

Changes to this policy

If we add or change cookies, we update this page and, where the change is significant, we ask for your consent again. The "Last reviewed" date above shows the current version.
